"Comedy at it's most ass spankin' with a collection of hipsters in an intimate setting befitting my boyhood dreams of show business, the only thing missing from the way I dreamed it as a boy is pimps in wide brim hats and Anne Margarette's loving arms waiting for me when I came down off stage."

- Tom Rhodes

"You made me laugh the pain away. Thank you."

- Elissa, first-time audience member

"The first time I came, it was just me, this time I brought 5 people, next time, 100! We love it!!"
-Josephine, 2-time victim

re: Comic Fusion

To Whom It May Concern:

I, Ray Marrone, am owner and manager of Fuse, an establishment located in the North Beach district of San Francisco. Comic Fusion first appeared at Fuse in June 2000.

I am writing to recommend Comic Fusion to club bookers, managers, and owners.

Comic Fusion, produced by Jeremy Beth Michaels and Jeff Kreisler, is a showcase of local comedians and musicians. Between 80 and 100 customers came to the shows, held on Monday evenings from 8:30-11:00. The room was packed, standing room only, with people pressed against each other from the stage to the bar in the back. This was a substantial increase from our regular Monday business. The show attracted a great deal of new business and exposure for Fuse, which was felt both on evenings of the show and on unrelated dates.

The producers of Comic Fusion are highly organized and professional. In addition to booking a diverse group of comedians and musicians, they effectively promoted the show, supplied sound and light equipment, created a "green room" for performers, assured customer comfort and enjoyment, cleaned up after the performance, offered to provide additional staffing, were prompt and efficient, and put on a great show which the audience truly enjoyed. Most importantly, the producers made every effort to keep in contact with myself and my staff to assure that our needs and concerns were always addressed.

I recommend Comic Fusion to other clubs as a way to attract new business and exposure, to fill up seats, and to provide an exciting supplement to their existing entertainment bookings. As the producers say, "laughter feels good."

Please feel free to contact me with any question you may have at (415) xxx-yyyy.

Sincerely,

Ray Marrone

Owner/Manager, Fuse
